How it works here

Paid in Brazilian reals

The patient receives local bank details in their own currency and pays by ACH, Fedwire, SEPA, Faster Payments or another local rail. MedFX converts the funds and sends reais to your account over Pix or TED.

Pix payouts are available at any hour. The speed of the whole payment depends on how quickly the patient's bank sends the transfer, so a SEPA Instant or Faster Payments transfer can reach you in minutes while an ACH transfer can take up to two business days.

Taxes that apply to foreign-exchange operations in Brazil are shown before you confirm a transaction. MedFX does not give tax advice, so check the treatment of your income with your accountant.
