Acceptable Use Policy

Effective March 15, 2026

This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses the MedFX Services.

1. Prohibited activities

You may not use the Services to:

  • Receive, move or conceal the proceeds of crime, or finance terrorism.
  • Evade sanctions, or send or receive payments to or from sanctioned persons or jurisdictions.
  • Process payments for treatment or services that you are not licensed to provide, or that are unlawful where they are provided or received.
  • Collect payments for a third party, act as a payment processor, or hold funds on behalf of others, without our written agreement.
  • Mislead patients about price, treatment, qualifications or refund terms, or use unfair, predatory or deceptive practices.
  • Submit false, forged or misleading documents or information.
  • Resell or sublicense the Services, or offer payment services to others using them.
  • Interfere with, probe or attempt to bypass the security of the Services, or use automated means to scrape or overload them.
  • Send medical records, patient photographs, card numbers, passwords or other sensitive data through channels we have not told you to use.

2. Prohibited businesses

We cannot serve businesses involved in:

  • Illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, or substances designed to mimic them, including pseudo-pharmaceuticals.
  • Weapons and firearms.
  • Counterfeit or unauthorised goods, or intellectual-property infringement.
  • Fraud, multi-level marketing, collections agencies or check cashing.
  • Unlawful gambling.
  • Undisclosed or unlicensed money services or money transmission.

3. Restricted businesses

Some activities may be permitted only after additional due diligence, including operating a foreign-exchange or crypto brokerage, holding client funds in escrow, third-party payment processing, pharmaceuticals and lending. If you are unsure whether your business is affected, ask us before you apply.

4. Enforcement

If we believe you have breached this policy we may hold or decline transactions, suspend or close your account, report the matter to authorities and take other action permitted by the Terms. To report a suspected breach, write to support@specie.finance.
